An introductory wine study focused on winemaking practices (in the vineyard and winery), varietals, regions of the world, and an overview of the history and evolution of wine. Whether you’re a wine professional looking to hone your skills, considering a career change, or a wine enthusiast (or novice) who just wants to learn more, this is the course for you. During one of the six class sessions, a compare/contrast of a varietal or two will enhance instruction. No prerequisite wine knowledge is needed. This course is open to anyone at least 21 years of age.
